“The Rookery” formally known as “paradise pool” is a one acre lake with a variety of species of fish, the depths range from average 4-6 feet it is set In the grounds of a former colliery “rookery pit” in bignall end it has 11 new pegs, the pool is a WIP (Work in progress) for the club, we’re constantly improving the water, night fishing is NOT allowed on this water.

Note: You must hold a valid EA Rod Licence and a club membership to fish this water

Access/Parking:
Access to the pool is off Bignall End Road, ST7 8LY, just as you come under the A500 there is a public footpath, follow this down to the gate at which point you’ll see sings for the pool.
